A little something about ourselves.
We are Venkatesh and Maya, a couple from Bangalore, India. We are compiler buffs and that is how we got to know each other, way back in 1996. We got married in 2001 and have been living in the Bay Area since then, working for an embedded systems company here.

Maya is mmk's sister and it is thanks to him that we started reading journals on LJ. We blog on our personal website: http://personal.pavanashree.org. Updates are available through our syndicated account murthys which you can add to your friends list if you wish.

Hi! and thanks for visiting. In school and later in college, mmk was known as Maya's brother, so it sure is nice to be known as mmk's sister for a change.

Didn't make the connection to V and M...becaue of thinking M stood for Murthy....IQ rating between 10 and 15, alas!

nice to know you are around, I will keep in touch.

Spent a little time with mmk in Jan, but not much, as the wedding took most of our energies....

I saw the wedding photos [info]shortindiangirl posted. From what I saw, I can imagine you and Uncle would have had a very busy time running around and making sure all the details were just perfect. I heard loads of praises for how it was organised, oh and the food too! :) I am glad it went off well. I wish we could have been there, but our customary trip home is mid year and till May-June we are neck deep in project work.

I can imagine. You call Mads expecting him to answer and suddenly you hear my voice. :) He was just getting up and he asked me to answer it.
